Demonstrations and Talks

Brigitte gives talks and demonstrations about processing of the local stinging nettle.
Pugmill House is a lovely spot to show of the beati of the nettle.
This brick and stone structure was built to house a horse-powered pugmill, in which clay was prepared for brickmaking in a small rural brickyard.

Brigitte is a regular at the Weald and Downland Museum. Hope to see you there!

Brigitte also gave talks about nettle processing and weaving to the Farnham based guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers in 2017, and is scheduled for talks to the Hampshire guild and Essex guild in 2021.
